As you can tell, the Section C-5C website has been redesigned to make it more appealing and easier to navigate. The section officers and webmaster will do their best to provide the viewers of this site with the information and assistance they need. Be sure to check out the many national service opportunities, like Trail Crew or Wilderness Voyage, on the High Aventure page, and upcoming training events on the Training page. If you have trouble finding something or have any comments or suggestions for the site, please contact the webmaster by clicking here. If you wish to contact a section officer, check out the Section Leadership page and click on the name of the person you wish to email. Also, on the bottom of every page is the date of when that page was last updated.
New Section Officers
Since Jack O'Neill has been elected National Chief our section needed a new chief. At the February Council of Chiefs Meeting, we elected Stephen Champion from Kishkakon to serve as the new Section Chief and Jared Peterson from Black Hawk Lodge to serve as new Section Vice Chief.
Jack O'Neill Elected National Chief!
Jack O'Neill, an Eagle Scout and Section Chief of our section, was elected National Chief of the Order of the Arrow on Saturday, Dec. 27, 2008. He is the first Arrowman from the Shawnee Lodge to ever hold the office. He is a Vigil Honor Member and served on his Council's summer camp staffs. He will be in the National Council's contingent that will present the BSA's annual report to Congress and the President of the United States in 2009. He previously served as Section Vice Chief and was elected twice as Section Chief.
