Hosted by Shawnee Lodge

Advanced Regalia
This session will teach experienced ceremonialists how to improve their regalia. It will teach skills that are needed to begin making the more challenging pieces of regalia, ultimately improving the look and the quality.

Arrowman Recognition
Have a problem with keeping people interested in the Order? Do you feel that some Arrowmen get discouraged from participating because they do not receive recognition for their hard work? In this training cell, you will learn how to effectively implement worthwhile recognition programs that not only recognize the efforts of your most devoted Brothers, but will also improve participation rates by showing how you can use recognition programs to retain Arrowmen.

Ceremonial Team Development
Many Lodges have a problem with recruiting new Ceremonialists or leading them on the way to becoming individuals who can effectively provide an awe-inspiring experience. Learn from others and come to speak about how you can recruit new members and develop them to become effective.

Ceremonial Team Site Preparation
Although the actual presentation of the ceremony by the ceremonialists in the most important aspect of the ceremony, the way the ceremonial team site is prepared and presented also is extremely important to giving the candidates an amazing experience. Learn from past ceremonialists and ceremonial team advisors on how they have enhanced sites and made areas more conducive to a positive ceremonial experience.

Chapter Administration
Are you a newly elected chapter officer, or are you thinking about running for a chapter officer? Then sit in on this training cell and learn the basics to running a successful chapter. Share ideas with other officers and prepare yourself for success.

Characterization
Aimed at beginner and intermediate ceremonialists, this training cell will help the individual better portray each principle in a ceremony. Suggestions will be given on: character motivation, vocalization, presence on the site, and the hierarchy of the four principles. Emphasis will be on interpretation of characters and performing as a team rather than four separate principles.

Extended Elangomat Program
Although the Elangomat is the first person that Candidates meet when they begin their Ordeal, most Lodges do not know how to effectively train their Elangomats and give them the proper information to be effective. Most Lodges and Chapters just throw whoever they can find to be Elangomats. This training cell will teach you how to make the most of your Elangomat, and it will also show you how you can get Elangomats to carry on their job beyond the Ordeal all the way until the Candidates receive Brotherhood and beyond. Imagine what your Lodge would be like if you implemented such a program? This training cell will give you the resources to do so.

Finger weaving
Finger weaving is used to make ceremonial arm ties, leg ties, and sashes (belts). As the name implies, it is the process of weaving yarn using only your fingers rather than with a loom. This session will be a demonstration with optional participation of the audience. Kits of materials and directions will be on sale for less than $5 and will be the best way to learn the process because the demonstration is straight from the kit.

Program Development

Selling the Service Project
When a Lodge tries to convince Arrowmen to attend service projects, they usually have trouble recruiting people because most Arromen envision the old, boring service projects of the past. This training cell will teach you how to plan an effective service project, and it will encourage Arrowmen to think in different ways about how to plan a service project and where to look for a service project.

Troop Rep Program

Although this program could hold the key to greatly improving communication and enhancing participation in your Lodge, most people do not understand how to effectively implement this program and maintain it once it has been started. Come hear how you can make this program work for you and how it holds the key to really improving participation for your Lodge.
